The Holmesdale Junior Section
was formed in 1983 by four enthusiastic members, Roger Cruttenden, Snowy
Whitehead, Peter Churchill and Mike Dayer-Smith. In the first year there were
about 20 children attending on a Saturday morning. Since then much has moved
forward with the introduction of Easter Coaching, Friday evening coaching and the Summer Camps and the
Club now coach over 300 children a year, making Holmesdale perhaps the largest
junior section in the County!
